Hi, I’m Donna Harmatuk — Realtor, Founder & CEO of Donna & Team New Bern. For me, real estate has always been about more than just the houses, it’s about the people who live in them. Every home tells a story, and I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside thousands of clients through the chapters of their lives, whether it’s a dream realized or one that’s had to be rewritten. With over 25 years in real estate, I’ve lived many of those chapters myself. I’ve raised two incredible children here in New Bern and, alongside my late husband Bill, founded Keller Williams New Bern, the area’s market leader since 2005. When Bill passed away from cancer during the height of COVID in 2020, I was reminded again of how deeply personal home is. Through joy and loss, New Bern has been the backdrop to it all. It’s woven into the fabric of my life, every memory, opportunity, and challenge. That’s why I built Team New Bern, a group of dedicated, like-minded professionals who understand that real estate is not just a transaction, it’s a relationship. I’ve personally lived on just about every body of water in the area, thanks to Bill’s love of fishing and our shared passion for the waterfront lifestyle. Today, I’m continuing that legacy, taking boat lessons and enjoying dock time with my pugs, Otis and Molly. Beyond real estate, I’m proud to give back to the community I love. I’ve served on the boards of the New Bern Chamber of Commerce, Craven Arts Council, and the New Bern chapter of the NC Symphony. I currently serve on the board of ACT (Allies for Cherry Point) to support our military community and recently joined HYDRA to help preserve New Bern’s historic neighborhoods. This isn’t just where I live. It’s where I’ve built a life, a business, and a mission to serve others with heart, integrity, and unmatched expertise.
