Hi, I’m Jennifer Wheeler, Realtor and Director of Operations at Donna & Team New Bern.
Rooted in a lifetime of New Bern residency and nearly two decades of real estate experience, I bring a deep local understanding and a passion for helping others navigate their property journey with confidence. I’ve been a licensed agent since 2009 and am proud to be part of Donna & Team New Bern since 2011.
My story with New Bern began when I moved here at age five — and I never left. Now, I get to raise my own children in the same close-knit, vibrant community that shaped me. From our charming downtown and scenic waterfronts to the endless community events and parks, there’s no place I’d rather call home.
What I love most is the balance New Bern offers: the friendly, small-town feel mixed with the fun of festivals, outdoor living, and our unbeatable access to two rivers and the coast. Whether I’m attending MumFest with my family or enjoying a quiet date night downtown, I’m constantly reminded of how special this place is.
Outside of work, I stay involved in the community through causes I care deeply about. I volunteer with the Colonial Capital Humane Society — fostering and fundraising for dogs in need — and I’m also an active member of the Junior League of Greater New Bern, giving back to the community that’s given me so much.
At home, life is lively — we live on 72 acres in Jones County with four dogs, two cats, and a whole lot of love. When I’m not deep into operations or helping our team support clients, I’m most likely chasing after my kids, exploring local parks, or cheering on a waterfront event.
