WHAT IS BIKE MS? Video Below
Bike MS is the largest fundraising cycling series in the world. Each year cyclists ride together to change the world for people with MS.
This year, 1,300 cyclists hit the road for Bike MS: Historic New Bern Ride to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for multiple sclerosis. Hosted by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Bike MS is a remarkable event that brings together companies, co-workers, neighbors, friends, and family all rallying to make a profound difference in the lives of nearly 1 million people battling MS in the U.S.
Cyclists rode 30, 50, 75, or 100 miles on Saturday and Sunday, and departed from Union Point Park. Along the way they experienced fully stocked rest stops every 10 to 12 miles, bike mechanics, medical volunteers from CarolinaEast Health System, and Support and gear vehicles.
We are beyond thrilled to have this wonderful event and turnout from our community! This is just another reason why we love our slice of Eastern North Carolina.
